Apple watchOS 10 Developer Preview Beta Released
Apple today pushed the watchOS 10 Developer Preview Beta update (build number: 21R5275t) to Apple Watch users.
The most intuitive change for Apple Watch users after upgrading to watchOS 10 is the return of widgets.
Users can spin the digital crown to invoke the widget window and quickly and easily access information by rotating it.
Another shift in watchOS 10 is the further enrichment of customization options for the watch buttons. Users can currently press the digital crown to set different functions based on their preferences, such as launching cellular networks and opening app lists.
Apple has introduced richer dial colors in watchOS 10 and new dials featuring Snoopy and Woodstock.
Enhanced health features
The watchOS 10 system focuses on mental health with the ability to record your emotions using abstract images; standardized assessment quizzes are available.
For health and exercise, Apple has also added new cycling features; hikers can also view trail and trailhead information directly from their wrist; and with the altimeter, you can view new 3D maps of waypoints.
A new “Vision” feature has been added to the Health app, which keeps track of how long users have been using their Apple Watch. Also new in watchOS 10 is Screen Distance, which tracks data from the last time a user used an Apple Watch. i
