Yesterday, Apple brought the new Apple Watch Ultra in the fall new product launch, the country line 6299 RMB. The new product is open for ordering now and will be officially put on sale on September 23 (Friday).
According to Apple’s website, the Apple Watch Ultra costs $499 / RMB 3,749 to repair without the AppleCare+ program, $79 / RMB 588 with AppleCare+ for the dial, display, button, sensor or other parts that are damaged, and $99 / RMB 748 with or without AppleCare+ if the battery needs to be replaced.
For comparison, without AppleCare+, the Apple Watch Series 8 costs from $299 to $399 to repair and $79 to replace the battery. Repair costs for the second-generation Apple Watch SE range from $199 to $229.
AppleCare + for the Apple Watch Ultra costs $799 upfront for every two years, and there is an option for “unlimited repairs,” with a service fee for each repair.
