Apple Watch, turn off the constant display to save power.

After years of enjoyment by Android users, the iPhone 14 Pro finally gets “always-on-display”. Even better, when the iPhone 14 Pro or iPhone 14 Pro Max is enabled, the screen will automatically turn off to save power if the phone is in your pocket or the screen is facing down.

According to Felixba, an anchor from Germany, after pairing the Apple Watch with the iPhone 14 Pro or iPhone 14 Pro Max, the iPhone will turn off the “constant display” once it detects that the user has left the room without the phone.

Foreign media speculate that this may be accomplished through communication between the iPhone 14 Pro model and the Apple Watch. However, Apple doesn’t mention this feature on its website or anywhere else, but it could be one of the many power-saving features that come with the iPhone 14 Pro’s constant display.

The iPhone 14 Pro series comes with a better, more energy-efficient OLED panel with a variable refresh rate that can go as low as 1Hz when the user is not viewing any content, and it also helps protect the battery. In addition, the new A16 chip has many other features to help improve power efficiency.
