Rumor has it that Apple tested three large iMac prototypes last year that were powered by Apple chips. The source who gave this information first predicted the Mac Studio, and that the M1 Ultra chip was a composite of two M1 Max chips. The source also accurately predicted the Studio Display.
The three iMac prototypes that Apple has tested are.
The first is similar in shape to the 27-inch Intel iMac and is powered by the M1 chip
The second is a similar design to the 24-inch iMac, but with the size increased to 27 inches, and also powered by the M1 chip
The third is a 24-inch iMac design, but with a 27-inch XDR screen, a black finish, and the M1 Max chip
Of course, these iMacs are only prototypes that were tested last year, and it’s not certain whether Apple will launch a new 27-inch Apple chip iMac again in the future.
