Apple today restocked its U.S. stores with certified refurbished iPhone 12 Pro models, which first hit shelves in April of this year. Available in a variety of storage capacities and colors, it starts at $759 (about $5,130.84), showing a savings of $140 (about $946.4) off the original price of $899 (about $6,077.24).

Apple’s online refurbished store currently offers refurbished iPhone 12 Pro models in 128GB, 256GB and 512GB storage in gold, silver, graphite and navy. Orders placed today are expected to arrive as early as next week, with in-store pickup supported at select Apple Store locations.

The Apple iPhone 12 Pro launches in October 2020 with a starting price of $899, which means a roughly 15 percent discount on the refurbished price. Apple stopped selling the new iPhone 12 Pro phone when it released the iPhone 13 Pro last year.

Refurbished iPhone 12 Pro models are unlocked and SIM-free. All refurbished iPhones come with a new battery, a new case, and a new white case that includes all manuals and a USB-C to Lightning cable. All refurbished iPhones are covered by Apple’s standard one-year warranty and are eligible for the AppleCare+ extended warranty.

Apple says its refurbished iPhones have been thoroughly tested and cleaned. Media outlets say there is little to no difference from a brand new iPhone. The only significant difference between certified refurbished iPhones is the simpler box.

Key new features of the iPhone 12 Pro compared to the iPhone 11 Pro include a new design with flat bezels, an A14 bionic chip, 5G support, MagSafe magnetic charging, an ultra-ceramic crystal panel, a LIDAR scanner and camera improvements.

Apple has not yet begun selling certified refurbished iPhone 12 Pro Max models in U.S. stores.
