Apple iPhone 14 models to manufacture in India
In an effort to diversify its smartphone production away from China, Apple will produce some of its iPhone 14 models in India. The information comes from a recent Bloomberg article that also reveals Apple’s plans to increase production at its assembly factory outside of Chennai with contract manufacturer Foxconn.
Foxconn will reportedly have to wait at least two months after the initial iPhone 14 series production begins in China before it can begin manufacturing the iPhone 14 in India. As a result, the first batch of Indian-made iPhone 14 devices would probably be available in late October or early November.
