Apple announced today that it will launch an online event for Chinese podcast creators to help them learn about Apple’s podcast services.

Apple’s Online Event for Podcast Creators

Apple will hold a quick start online briefing on Apple Podcasts on Friday, December 16 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The event is specifically for Chinese creators and will be held in Beijing. The event will be held exclusively for Chinese creators and will be hosted by the Apple Podcast team to introduce the key features of Apple Podcasts, how to get recommendations, the latest features, and opportunities that may be available.

Apple has previously introduced podcasts to the public by sharing tips on how to use the devices and inviting podcast creators to its Today at Apple series of classes in retail stores. Podcasts have also been introduced as a marketing tool in the Today at Apple series for small businesses.

In addition to online events for podcast creators, Apple has hosted several online events for developers in recent years to help developers better understand how to use tools to promote their work and to meet face-to-face with Apple engineers to share their questions. This online event for podcast creators is also a further expansion of Apple’s content ecosystem creation.

As a media format that has emerged in recent years, and as part of Apple’s own services, podcasting will help creators create more quality content within Apple’s ecosystem and generate further revenue. Podcasts are also easier to develop than apps and will allow more people to participate in their creation and share their ideas through Apple’s global platform.
