Apple SSD upgrade kit for Mac Pro 2023 models: 2TB for RMB 7,500, 8TB for RMB 21,000

The WWDC23 developer conference, Apple launched the Mac Pro 2023 model, equipped with the newly released M2 Ultra chip, increased PCIe expansion capabilities, and configurable up to 192GB of unified memory. The new Mac Pro announces the transition of the Mac product line to Apple chips, and the new product is now available for pre-order and will go on sale Tuesday, June 13.

The Mac Pro 2023 SSD upgrade kit is now available on Apple’s official website, with 2TB priced at RMB 7,500, 4TB at RMB 12,000 and 8TB at RMB 21,000.

According to Apple, you can upgrade the internal SSD storage capacity of your Mac Pro with this Apple 2TB Solid State Drive Upgrade Kit for Mac Pro. The kit includes a separate 2TB / 4TB / 8TB storage module that replaces the existing SSD module in your system and requires self-installation.

Reinstalling the software requires another Mac running Apple Configurator 2 and a USB-C cable, compatible with the Mac Pro (2023 models).

Apple says every Mac Pro comes standard with Apple’s 24-core CPU and up to 76-core graphics, and can be configured with up to 192GB of memory and 800GB/s of unified memory bandwidth, providing the performance of not one but seven built-in Afterburner accelerator cards and media processing with up to 22 simultaneous 8K ProRes video playback. video.

The Mac Pro 2023 model offers seven PCIe expansion slots, including six open expansion slots that support the fourth-generation PCIe standard for up to two times the speed of previous models, for audio professionals with digital signal processing (DSP) cards, video professionals who need to utilize digital component serial interface (SDI) I/O cards for external professional cameras and monitors, and video professionals who need for general users who need higher network bandwidth and more hard drive storage capacity.

The Mac Pro is available in both tower and rackmount chassis, starting at RMB 55,999 for the Mac Pro (tower chassis) and RMB 52,799 for the education discount.
