Apple Releases Safari Technical Preview Version 163: Fixes Bugs, Improves Performance

Apple has updated Safari Technical Preview version 163 today, based on version 16.4 and compatible with macOS Ventura and macOS Monterey systems.

This update mainly fixes bugs in Web Inspector, Masonry Layout, CSS Custom Properties, Media Queries, CSS, Forms, Rendering, JavaScript, WebAssembly, Gamepad API, Web API WebGL, SVG, Scrolling, Media, Accessibility, WebDriver, Safari Web Extensions, and other components to improve their performance.

The Safari Technology Preview update is available to anyone who has downloaded the browser through System Preferences or the Software Update mechanism in System Settings. full release notes for the update are available on the Safari Technology Preview website.

Apple launched Safari Technology Preview in March 2016, primarily for testing various new features and functionality. Once Apple completes testing certain features, they are introduced into future stable versions of Safari.
