This update focuses on fixing the security vulnerability with tracking number CVE-2023-41064, The vulnerability was used by NSO Group Group for the Pegasus monitoring software, and the attacker utilized the said vulnerability to create images containing malicious code and distributed them through PassKit attachments.
The vulnerability fix applies to iPhone 6s (all models), iPhone 7 (all models), iPhone SE (1st generation), iPad Air 2, iPad mini (4th generation) and iPod touch (7th generation).
