Apple today pushed iOS / iPadOS 17 first public beta at the same time, but also for macOS Sonoma 14, tvOS 17 and watchOS 10 released the first public beta, inviting non-developers to participate in the test.
macOS Sonoma 14
Registered developers can download the beta through the Apple Developer Center and make it available through the Software Update mechanism in System Settings after installing the appropriate configuration file.
macOS Sonoma 14 features improved algorithms for spatial, BNNS, vImage, and other properties of the accelerometer to provide a better interactive experience.
The new version also introduces several improvements to AirPods, inviting more developers to install the beta firmware and test new features such as adaptive audio, personalized volume, and conversation awareness.
watchOS 10
watchOS 10 primarily returns widgets, enriches customization options for watch buttons, adds new dials featuring Snoopy and Woodstock, and enhances health features.
tvOS 17
The tvOS 17 update introduces a new FaceTime app for Apple TV, making it easier for users to make video calls on the big screen.
Apple says that with the Continuity Camera feature, users can launch the FaceTime app on Apple TV and wirelessly connect it to their iPhone and iPad, allowing users to cast incoming calls received on their iPhone to their Apple TV for calls.
