Apple plans to replace the USB-C interface for its AirPods, AirPods Max headphones, Bloomberg’s Gurman revealed that Apple will also replace in the near future for its MagSafe Duo, MagSafe external batteries, the corresponding interface, and the magnitude of such accessories, “will obviously be relatively fast, just like the transition after the introduction of the Lightning interface in 2012. The transition after the introduction of the Lightning interface in 2012”.
Gurman also claims that the now-discontinued Apple Watch magnetic charging dock could be “resurrected” with a USB-C port. While Apple needs to update a lot of cables and accessories soon, he ” doesn’t expect to announce any new types of accessories at the iPhone 15 launch event”.

Additionally, Gurman explained that Apple’s new MagSafe external battery is in development and that the next generation of battery packs involves a new concept that will allow users to wirelessly charge multiple devices at the same time by stacking multiple battery packs on top of each other. For example, it would be possible to charge two iPhones at the same time, with the two devices on either side of the stacked battery pack.
Regardless of when Apple decides to launch these devices with USB-C ports, counterfeiters are already making copies in bulk.
An Apple blogger, Fix Apple (lipilipsi), has posted a post on the X platform showing a large number of fake Magsafe external batteries, before the official website is even available for sale, the fake products will be the first to go on sale.
