Prototype collector Kosutami posted pictures a few days ago, indicating that Apple originally planned to provide colorful designs for MagSafe chargers. In a follow-up tweet released today, it further stated that Apple originally planned to launch MagSafe chargers in 8 colors in 2020.
MacRumors reported that Apple has made the following colours for MagSafe chargers:
Space Gray
Starlight
Green
Pink
Purple
Yellow
blue
(PRODUCT)REDAmong them, yellow, blue and (PRODUCT) RED are all dark tones with high saturation. Kosutami said that “the colorful Magsafe magnetic charger has the same style and color design as the previous charging cable for MacBook, but the color is more saturated.”
The MagSafe charger for iPhone is only available in silver on the official website of Apple in China; after the release of the M2 MacBook Air, Apple has provided Mac with silver, space gray, midnight and starlight MagSafe 3 chargers, and Apple may follow-up for Other colors of the MagSafe charger for iPhone are available.
