The latest macOS Ventura 13.1 Beta update further enhances the Find My feature with support for finding AirTag, a feature previously available only on iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch versions of Find My.
In the previous macOS version, users could only find devices like iPhones and AirPods through the Find My feature, but this Beta update extends the trackable devices to AirTag and other item tracking devices that support Find My for the first time.
To find this new option, open the Find My app on your Mac. Then click on the “Items” tab and click on the accessory you want to find. In addition to the usual options for locating items, the Beta version also includes a new “Play Sound” option. Clicking on a trackable accessory like AirTag makes a sound, just like on iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch.
