Apple has typically delayed the release of the full version of macOS for the past 4+ years, opting to release it in October or November, and based on the progress of the current Beta release, Apple is expected to synchronize the launch of the Sonoma version of macOS in September of this year.

Source @iSWUpdates notes the detail that the 7th beta of macOS Ventura, which Apple released last year, had an internal version number ending in “f”, while the 7th beta of macOS Sonoma, which was released last week, ended in “a”. “and the higher the letter, the closer to the end of the test it usually is.
Apple released macOS Mojave in September 2018, and its updated 7th beta also ends with an “a” suffix.

According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple will be rolling out both the iOS 17 and iPadOS 17 updates at the same time this month, unlike last year when iOS 16 and iPadOS 16 were released separately. So this could mean that Apple will be releasing iOS / iPadOS 17 and macOS Sonoma 14 updates simultaneously this year.
