Apple macOS 13.3 Beta user feedback: SMB not sharing files issue

0

Since Apple released macOS 13.2 in late January this year, Mac users have been giving feedback that they can’t share files via the SMB protocol. But Apple seems to have fixed this problem in the upcoming macOS 13.3 update.

Users with the above issue have posted on social media and the Reddit community that SMB sharing is now working properly after upgrading to macOS 13.3 Beta 3.

Apple has released macOS 13.3 RC preview / public beta, introducing the same new emoji as iOS 16.4 and iPadOS 16.4, including pink hearts, light blue hearts, left and right hands, moose, blackbird, goose, wings, jellyfish, pea pods, fingers, and more.

The update adds the new HomeKit architecture that was originally removed from updates like iOS 16.2, and the revised version will have fewer bugs that affect HomeKit settings. There is a new option in the shortcut to create workflows with Siri notification announcements.

macOS Ventura 13.3 has gone through multiple rounds of Beta testing and Apple plans to release it publicly this spring.
