Following the new iPad 10th generation and iPad Pro launch, netizens have been on the lookout for the release of the Apple MacBook Pro models. The previous understanding of this coming laptop made popular on the internet was that it will launch before the end of the year, but that isn’t the case. Current information from popular Apple tipster Mark Gurman fails to validate the previous understanding of the soon-to-launch MacBooks.
In the recent Power On newsletter from reporter Mark Gurman, the launch of the MacBook Pros with M2 chips will take place early next year. It will become official with updates to the iPad and MacBook ecosystem being the macOS Ventura 13.3 and iOS 16.3 software updates. So, we can expect Apple to stick to their launch culture and make the new MacBooks available sometime within the month of March.

Mark also makes updates to the processor to feature on the coming product launch and from his findings, we will see the M2 chip arrive with the Apple MacBook Pro models. For the screen sizes, we will see a 14-inch model and a larger 16-inch model and might as well features a notch similar to the 2021 MacBook Pros (14.2-inch and 16.2-inch). The M2 chip to be in use on the coming Apple MacBook Pro models might be the same available on the MacBook Air, made official this year. Apple might as well tweak the processor to make it a bit more powerful than the existing model.
