A new leak about next year’s Apple iPhone 15 series shows that the dynamic island will be available on all four devices. Currently, the iPhone 14 series limits the dynamic island to only the Pro models leaving the notch to the non-Pro models. But the next major series entry from Apple will sync all designs together, hence giving a more constant look on the front.
This will be a welcomed development to the Apple community as they say their final goodbyes to the notch. But our sources make us understand that despite welcoming the dynamic island to the Apple iPhone 15 series, some features won’t follow through. Such features as 120Hz refresh rate and support for an LTPO display will remain exclusive to the Pro models.

The lack of these features will be a result of the BOE not being able to keep up production. Our sources also express the conviction that the 2024 iPhone series will feature 120Hz and LTPO display on all models. Also, the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus will lack both ProMotion and Always-On display features.
This is a welcomed development as the adoption rate for Apple’s dynamic island will surge. It is good to note that this is not a phase-out of the notch, as the 2023 iPhone SE will launch with a notch and a design similar design to the iPhone XR. The thick bezels and home button are features that will phase out with the entry of next year’s iPhone models.
