The source fix Apple (@lipilipsi) today released a set of photos, sharing photos of the USB-C components of the Apple iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
A number of sources, including Ming-Chi Kuo and Mark Gurman, have previously confirmed that Apple’s iPhone 15 series will be changing from Lightning to USB-C ports in response to new EU regulations, but there’s no accurate information yet on USB charging rates or MFi certification.
From the photos of the components revealed so far, there is a difference between the USB-C components used in the iPhone 15 Pro Max series and those used in the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus.
