Apple’s newly released iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max are the first iPhones to support next-generation Wi-Fi 6E connectivity, while the standard iPhone 15 models still only support Wi-Fi 6.

With Wi-Fi 6E support, iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max can connect to the 6GHz band provided by Wi-Fi 6E routers for faster speeds, improved latency, and less interference from other devices.
A Wi-Fi 6E router is required to connect to Wi-Fi 6E, and the number of devices that support Wi-Fi 6E is still limited, so there’s much less congestion in the 6GHz band at the moment.
Apple has been adding Wi-Fi 6E support to its devices since 2022. The latest iPad Pro, 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro, Mac mini, Mac Studio, and Mac Pro all offer Wi-Fi 6E support.
