OOKLA, the company behind the popular speed test software SpeedTest service, today released the U.S. Speedtest 5G device network report, which shows that Apple’s iPhone 15/Pro series phones dominate 5G devices in the United States.

It is reported that all the top five phones use the Snapdragon X70 5G modem chip. Among them, the iPhone 15 Pro Max has a median 5G downlink speed of 285.02Mbps and a median 5G uplink speed of 18.26Mbps, ranking first in the United States. Top of the list.
The average downlink speeds of iPhone 15 Plus and iPhone 15 Pro in the United States are 275.48Mbps and 268.99Mbps respectively. The iPhone 15’s 5G downlink speed is 249.30Mbps, ranking fourth.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 ranked fifth, with a 5G downlink speed of 231.56Mbps.
Last year’s iPhone 14 Pro Max ranked sixth, powered by the Snapdragon X65 5G modem chip, and had a median 5G downlink speed of 220.5Mbps.
The Galaxy Z Flip 5 ranked seventh, achieving a median 5G downlink speed of 219.17Mbps.
