Apple iPhone 14 Pro/Max shipment delays and iPhone 14/Plus demand is still modest

Analysts say that at this stage of the iPhone’s new product launch, Apple’s iPhone 14 Pro models are already experiencing lower delivery lead times than iPhone 13 Pro products from the same period last year, while user demand for iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus is still “modest “.

In week six of J.P. Morgan’s Apple Product Availability Tracker, delivery times for iPhone 14 Pro models have moderated from the fifth week’s figures. According to the tracker, delivery times for the iPhone 14 Pro Max have leveled off and are on par with the iPhone 14 Pro.

The easing timeline is estimated to be similar to the iPhone 13 Pro model, despite lower supply constraints. iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max delivery times were 2 days, 2 days, 29 days and 30 days respectively, down from 2 days, 4 days, 32 days and 34 days a week ago.

Delivery times are shorter for the base iPhone 14 compared to iPhone 13, and slightly shorter for iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. J.P. Morgan did not provide a comparison for iPhone 14 Plus, possibly due to the much later release date.

In the US, demand for iPhone 14 Pro Max is more in line with the Pro at 32 days, and iPhone 14 Pro Max was previously 39 days. iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus delivery times have remained steady at three days, but this is well below the approximately 11 days for iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini in the same relative period. In China, the iPhone 14 Pro Series is available in a range of sizes.

In China, delivery times for the iPhone 14 Pro range are now below the global average, at 22 days for iPhone 14 Pro and 29 days for iPhone 14 Pro Max. iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus delivery times are 1 day, which is also very low compared to the 12 days for iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini in China. This is also very low compared to the 12 days for iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini in China.

For the UK and Germany regions in Europe, delivery times for iPhone 14 Pro are consistent compared to iPhone 14 Pro Max, which has a moderate delivery time. iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus have a next-day delivery time, well below the corresponding time for iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini, which is around 11 days.

In terms of wearable tracking, delivery times for the new Apple Watch models are gradually easing up. Apple Watch Series 8 and Apple Watch Ultra have average global delivery times of 9 and 24 days respectively, down from 11 and 25 days a week ago, while Apple Watch SE has gone from 10 to 9 days. The Apple Watch SE has gone from 10 days to 9 days.

Lead times for the AirPods Pro 2 wireless headphones are around 2 days, a slight reprieve from 3 days a week ago.

A recent JP Morgan note to investors predicted record-breaking financials for Apple’s fiscal fourth quarter, with revenues of $90 billion and earnings of $1.31 per share.
