Apple today pushed the iOS / iPadOS 16 Developer Preview Beta 3 update (internal version number: 20A5312g) to iPhone and iPad users, 14 days after the last release.
iOS 16 introduces an improved lock screen that offers new levels of personalization and customization through widgets, redesigned notifications, and adjustable fonts and colors. Multiple lock screens are supported, similar to the Apple Watch dial, and can be associated with focus mode.
In addition, iOS 15.6 Public Beta 5 was pushed. We don’t yet know what new features were introduced in iOS 15.6 and iPadOS 15.6, and Apple has now completed all the promised features given at the launch of iOS and iPadOS 15, and development on iOS 15 may be winding down as iOS 16 approaches.
How do I upgrade iOS / iPadOS / watchOS / macOS development / public beta?
Simply download and install the [description file] to detect the development / public beta upgrade in System Update, see below for how to download the description file.
Please note that due to the caching problem of Apple’s regional node server configuration, there may be a slight delay in detecting the update in some places, usually within half an hour, not too long.
