Apple today pushed the iOS and iPadOS 16.1.1 update (internal version number: 20B101) to iPhone users, 16 days after the last release.
According to Apple, the update addresses two security vulnerabilities that could be used by remote users to execute arbitrary code or cause an application to terminate unexpectedly.

Note that due to server configuration caching issues across Apple’s regional nodes, there may be a slight delay in detecting the update in some places, usually within half an hour, not too long.
In the latest iOS 16.2 (20C5043e) beta and iOS 16.1.1, the “AirDrop to everyone” option has been removed.
