Apple has reportedly suspended nearly all hiring until next September, three people familiar with the matter said today.
Employees across Apple’s divisions have been told that the company will not hire new employees in the coming months, possibly until the end of the current fiscal year, which is September 2023, the people familiar with the matter said.
One of the people familiar with the matter said the hiring freeze affects full-time employees within the company. Of course, it is still possible to add some sales staff in departments such as retail before the Christmas shopping season.
The person also said that Apple has “no budget” to add staff in the coming year. You could say that hiring is in a “freeze” state.
