Apple CEO Tim Cook and Senior Vice President of Marketing Greg Joswiak visited Kumamoto Prefectural University in Japan to tour students and landmarks.
Tim Cook and other executives often make PR trips to different countries/regions to reinforce Apple’s commitment to a project or business. The recent trip to Japan marked Tim Cook’s second major trip since the beginning of the pandemic.
Apple’s Tim Cook said, “It was great to be back in Japan, visiting the historic Kumamoto Castle and learning about their work to restore this incredible landmark.”

Greg Joswiak, Apple’s senior vice president of marketing, also went along for the ride, visiting Kumamoto Prefectural University. He highlighted how students are using Apple products to create applications.
Greg Joswiak said programming opens the door to new opportunities. Seeing how young developers at Kumamoto Prefectural University are using Apple technology to create apps that serve and support their communities bodes well for many wonderful things to come!
Tim Cook previously visited various locations in the UK and throughout Europe. He spoke in various interviews and attended different events.
