Apple’s Beats Studio Buds+ earphones have recently passed the US FCC and Singapore IMDA certifications, and the certification models are “A2872” and “A2871”. Many foreign media believe that these earphones will be available in the next few weeks.
According to the existing information, the new Studio Buds + is expected to be an upgraded version of the 2021 Studio Buds. It will use a custom Beats chip instead of the Apple H1/H2, support Hey Siri, and have active noise reduction and transparency mode, support for audio sharing, and automatic device switching.
Additionally, Buds+ are likely to support media controls. It is believed that they will be different from Apple AirPods in terms of design, function, and the entire product language. We hope to bring you more details about the Beats Studio Buds+ in the days to come.
Refer to previous practice. Compared to the AirPods, the Beats Studio Buds lack in-ear detection. This means the Beats Studio Buds won’t automatically pause and play content when they’re taken off or put in your ears. Also, the previous generation of Beats Studio Buds doesn’t support automatic device switching and doesn’t sync your paired devices in iCloud, so you’ll need to manually connect on each new device.
