Apple today launched its annual back-to-school education offer promotion for most countries in Europe, some countries in Asia, the Middle East and Mexico.
Higher education students and educators in most countries can earn Apple gift cards with select Mac and iPad purchases, the same offer that was available in the U.S. and Canada in June, while in other countries, Apple is offering AirPods wireless headphones. Gift cards up to the value of £120 (approximately $960) are available in the U.K. and up to €150 (approximately $1014) in other European countries.
Eligible devices include MacBook Air, MacBook Pro and iMac, as well as iPad Pro and iPad Air, including Apple’s newest M2 MacBook Pro and M2 MacBook Air. the highest value gift card is offered with the purchase of a Mac, and a slightly lower value gift card is offered with the purchase of an iPad.
In countries such as Mexico, Turkey, the Czech Republic, Belgium, the United Arab Emirates, Hong Kong and China, Apple does not offer Apple gift cards, but rather AirPods 2 wireless headphones for free for education customers who purchase a new iPad or Mac, but customers can also upgrade to AirPods 3 or AirPods Pro headphones for an additional fee.
Apple offers a standard education discount that allows students to purchase Macs and iPads for less through education stores in every country. students are also eligible for AppleCare+ at a 20 percent discount.
Apple’s Back-to-School promotion is subject to verification by UNiDAYS in many countries, and complete terms and conditions can be found on the promotions page of Apple’s country-specific website.
Apple’s Back-to-School Education Offer is available to students and educators in Mexico, the United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Austria, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, Belgium, Poland, Portugal, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, Hong Kong, and China.
Apple’s Back-to-School promotion will run through October 20, 2022 in most of these countries, but will end at the end of September in some countries (e.g., Hong Kong, China).
