Apple Announces WWDC23 Schedule for June 6

Apple today announced the schedule for its annual Worldwide Developers Conference WWDC23, including keynote and Platforms State of the Union release times, and shared with developers more about what they’re about to learn and experience.

WWDC23 will run online from June 6-10 BST and is free for all developers to attend. On opening day, developers and students will have the opportunity to participate in a special hands-on experience at Apple Park. The week-long event will help developers learn about the latest technologies, tools and frameworks coming to the iOS, iPadOS, macOS, tvOS and watchOS platforms. During the conference, developers can connect directly with Apple engineers and experts through one-on-one lab consultations and events in Slack to get guidance on how to build innovative apps and games for different platforms.

Apple is expected to release iOS 17, macOS 14, watchOS 10, the long-awaited AR/VR headset, the 15-inch MacBook Air and more.

The WWDC23 schedule is as follows:

Apple Keynote

The largest and most exciting WWDC23 to date will kick off with a keynote introducing updates that will be available across Apple’s platforms later this year. The keynote will be streamed live online at apple.com/cn and on the Apple Developer App, and a recap of the event will be available on demand after the live stream.
Platforms State of the Union

Developers will learn how to take their apps to the next level by exploring new tools, technologies and advancements across Apple’s platforms. platforms State of the Union will be streamed live online via the Apple Developer App and the Apple Developer website.

Apple Design Awards

The Apple Design Awards recognize and celebrate the art, craft, creativity and technical achievements of Apple’s developer community. Winners of this year’s Apple Design Awards will be announced via the Apple Developer App and website.

Engage with the Experts

WWDC23 will feature 175 in-depth video sessions that bring together the latest tools and technologies to help developers understand how to create the next generation of apps and games. Developers can schedule one-on-one lab consultations with Apple experts to explore technology, design and App Store-related issues, including how to increase the presence of apps in the Store. Videos of the sessions will be available daily on the Apple Developer App and Apple Developer website from June 6-9, Pacific Summer Time.
Events

In addition to lecture videos and one-on-one lab consultations, Apple engineers and designers will host online events through Slack during the week to help developers engage in technical discussions, answer questions, and connect with each other. Developers can participate in technical or design Q&A sessions, watch talk videos, ask questions of the speakers, or build community connections through icebreakers.
Developer App

The Apple Developer App is a great way to experience WWDC23 on your Mac, iPhone, and iPad. During the conference, the app will feature the latest news and relevant events and content in the form of daily updates or notifications. Developers can browse content by topic, sign up for Slack events and one-on-one lab consultations, watch videos with peers via Share-Alike, copy code directly from talk videos to Xcode, read feature stories, and more. Developers can also access all WWDC content, register, browse news, read feature stories, and access documentation at developer.apple.com/cn.
