How long does it take to charge quickly?
Apple officials say it takes about 45 minutes to charge the Apple Watch models listed above from 0% to 80%. Apple’s updated official support documentation details the Apple Watch Series 7, Apple Watch Series 8, and Apple Watch Ultra-fast charging details.
"With Quick Charge, Apple Watch Series 8 and Apple Watch Series 7 go from 0% to 80% battery in about 45 minutes, and Apple Watch Ultra goes from 0% to 80% in about an hour*."
What do you need to achieve fast charging?
All three Apple Watch models come with a USB-C magnetic fast-charging cable inside the package. It is worth noting that the material used for this cable on the magnetic ring is aluminum, not plastic.
"For fast charging, the Apple USB-C Magnetic Quick Charge Cable is required. This charging cable has a magnetic charger and a USB-C connector wrapped in aluminum."
The USB-C magnetic fast charging cable can also be purchased separately in a 1-meter length, model number A2515, and is currently priced at 283 CNY on Apple’s official website in China.
Another thing to keep in mind is the charging head section. According to Apple’s official documentation, a USB-C power adapter with 5W and higher power will be able to charge the Apple Watch quickly.
