Apple announced that it will open a new Apple Store in the Hongdae area of Seoul, South Korea at 10 a.m. on January 20. The address is located at No. 140 Yanghua-ro, Mapo-gu, Seoul. The theme is “Creative Street Culture”.
It is worth mentioning that Apple also announced that it will permanently close its US Apple Infinite Loop store (located in Apple’s early headquarters “Infinite Loop”) and Royal Hawaiian store (located at the Royal Hawaiian Center in Honolulu) on January 20 this year.
It is noticed that in order to celebrate the opening of the new store, Apple has released a commemorative wallpaper for the Apple Store Hongdae store. The word “홍대 (Hongdae)” is hidden in the logo. iPhone, iPad and Mac users can download it for free through the Apple Store.
According to reports, the new store is located at No. 140 Yanghua Road, close to Hongik University, and will provide Genius Bar reservation services and Today at Apple creative courses.
