Apple announced the second generation of AirPods Pro, priced at RMB 1,899, which will be available for order today and will go on sale starting September 23.
Apple’s website shows that in addition to longer battery life and a new charging case, the new generation of AirPods Pro also has a new earbud size to better fit the shape of the user’s ear.
Apple says the in-ear fit is an important part of the complete audio experience, so the new AirPods Pro includes a pair of XS-sized earbuds, with a total of four pairs of silicone earbuds available to accommodate a wider range of ear shapes. “Not only are the earbuds acoustically sealed for great sound isolation, but they also make AirPods Pro solid to wear.”
The second generation of AirPods Pro will come with four different models of earbuds, including L, M, S, and XS. The new XS size earbuds will allow for a better fit for more users. The AirPods Pro second-generation earbuds are also now available on the Apple Online Store for RMB 59 for two pairs.
It’s also worth noting that the AirPods Pro charging case engraving can be displayed on the screen of the paired device. Users hold the AirPods Pro close to their iPhone and tap “Connect” and the headphones will pair with each device in their iCloud account. If a user’s charging case is engraved with custom content, that engraving will also appear on the screen of the paired device, making the entire experience even more personal.
