Apex Legends Mobile is available on Google Play, starting today

After a few months of beta testing, it seems like Apex Legends Mobile is finally ready for global release. The game is all set to arrive at the Google Play Store today. For the Galaxy device users, it may have already arrived, depending on the region of course.

Apex Legends Mobile is developed by Respawn. It is a subsidiary of EA games and they have been beta testing the game for months, making necessary changes while doing so.

The launch of the game was a bit uneven. Mobile gamers in some parts of the world got public access earlier than others. After that, everything went smoothly as it didn’t take long for the game to go live globally. If the game hasn’t arrived in specific regions, it may soon. Users should start checking the Google Play Store frequently.

There is also a PC and console version of the game available. Both are properties of EA and developed by Respawn Entertainment. The game also has a free-to-play model. This means that the users will be able to download and play the games on their smartphones and tablets without spending any money on microtransactions.

There are only a few skins and visual effects available in the microtransaction shop. This is nothing major that will anyway improve or affect the gameplay. At least, this is the situation at the time of the game’s release, which may change in the future. Depends on the studio’s decision.

The Apex Legends Mobile has a very different progression system compared to the PC and console versions of the game. Most importantly, the mobile version of the game lacks cross-play or cross-platform capabilities.
