After teasing it last month, AOKZOE has finally launched a crowdsourcing project on Kickstarter for the brand’s first AMD Raider 6800U handheld. The AOKZOE A1 is reportedly designed to compete with manufacturers like Valve and One Notebook. In addition to the Radeon 680M core graphics and LPDDR5X memory integrated into the 6800U chip, it also has an excellent intelligent temperature-controlled cooling system and is compatible with Windows 11 and Steam OS systems.

Despite its compact size, the AOKZOE A1 handheld is equipped with an 8-inch @ 1920×1200 resolution Full HD IPS display and an internal cooling solution of aluminum fins + fan + copper heat pipes.
The AOKZOE A1 has 283 PPI pixels and weighs the same as the 7-inch Steam Deck at 668 grams. And the company believes that the 8-inch screen is more satisfying than the 8.4-inch model of the One Notebook.
Interestingly, the AOKZOE A1 also offers customizable RGB settings that support 3 different modes and 20+ lighting effects to enhance gamers’ gaming experience.
Officially, the AOKZOE A1 is capable of running 3A games like Eldon Reach at a smooth 60fps. If you switch to the “optimized” “Extreme Racing”, it can easily exceed 100 fps.
The AOKZOE A1 handheld is currently crowdsourced on the Kickstarter platform, with an early bird starting price of $899. If all goes well, the company expects to start shipping in September 2022.
