YouTube channel Moore’s Law Is Dead shared more news about the RDNA4 flagship graphics card in the latest video and stated that AMD has canceled all release plans for Navi41 and Navi42.

The news shared the side view of Navi4C and said that the series includes AIDs, SEDs and MID three dies, which are huge improvements compared to RDNA3.
MLID means that Navi4C is equipped with at least 3 active interposers (Active Interposers, which handle routing data between the top dies) on a single package layer, and adopts a 3D architecture.
Each active interposer encapsulates 3 Shader Engine Dies (SEDs), thus implementing 9 SEDs. 1 MID (Multimedia and I/O Die) can also be seen on the left side of the structure.

MLID said that AMD plans to add Infinity Cache/memory controller chip dies to RDNA4, with 7 chiplets on RDNA3 and 13-20 chiplets on RDNA4.

According to reports, AMD will release Navi44 in mid-2024, which is expected to use a 6nm process; Navi43 will be released in 2025, which will use a 3nm process node, allowing more CUs to be packaged in a smaller volume.
