According to foreign media Wcctech, AMD’s next-generation thread tearer Threadripper PRO 7985WX appeared in the PugetBench database.
From the naming point of view, AMD Threadripper PRO 7985WX should be the sub-flagship model, based on the Zen 4 architecture, with 64 cores, and the test platform is equipped with 256 GB (8 x 32 GB) DDR5-5600 memory.
For comparison, AMD’s current flagship model, the Threadripper PRO 5995WX, has 64 cores, a 256MB L3 cache, uses TSMC’s 7nm process, and supports 8-channel DDR4 memory.
