According to Videocardz, AMD Threadripper 7000 and Threadripper 7000 PRO processors will be released on October 19.
As shown in the image above, the AMD Threadripper 7000 non-PRO models will come in a gray and orange box, while the PRO models will come in gray and silver packaging.
In terms of specifications, this series of processors uses Zen4 architecture, will use up to 12 CCDs, up to 96 cores, and consume 350W.
In terms of motherboards, it is reported that AMD will launch the WRX90 platform for workstations and the TRX50 platform for high-performance desktops.
According to previous reports, the flagship model of this series of processors, Threadripper PRO 7995WX, previously appeared on Geekbench, confirming 96 cores and 192 threads, with a frequency of up to 5.14 GHz.
Previously, it was revealed that Threadripper PRO 7000 series processors support 8-channel memory, have 128 PCIe 5.0 lanes, and do not support overclocking. Threadripper 7000 supports 4-channel memory, has 64 PCIe 5.0 lanes, and supports overclocking.
