An AMD R5 7725HS has now appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking platform. The software recognizes its codename as “Renoir”, which should be a vest model of the Zen2 architecture R7 4800HS.
In terms of parameters, the R5 7725HS is an 8-core 16-thread specification, up to 4.3GHz, and is equipped with an 8MB L3 cache.
As a comparison, the R7 4800HS also has 8 cores and 16 threads, up to 4.2GHz, and is equipped with 8MB L3 cache. In terms of running points, the R5 7725HS has a single-core score of 1106 and a multi-core score of 6929, which is about 6% higher than the R7 4800HS.
According to AMD’s official announcement of a new generation of mobile processor planning and online information, the Ryzen 7000 mobile terminal will have three generations of architecture in the same house.
7020 Series entry model, Zen2 architecture, including R5, R3 and Athlon models
7030 series mainstream models: Zen3 architecture for thin and light notebooks, including R3 to R7 models
7035 series mainstream advanced models: Zen3 architecture for high-end thin and light notebooks, including R3 to R9 models

At present, the AMD 7020U series entry model has been released and is expected to be shipped by the end of this year for entry-level notebooks.
This series of processors is Zen2 architecture but uses a newer 6nm process, and the L3 cache is only 4MB. In terms of memory, this series of processors supports 2-channel LPDDR5-5500 memory, while the Ryzen 6000 series mobile processors support LPDDR5-6400 memory.
