AMD released the R9 7945HX3D mobile processor today, bringing 3D V-Cache technology to the mobile terminal.
In terms of parameters, the R9 7945HX3D processor has 16 cores and 32 threads, the acceleration frequency is 5.4GHz, and the L2+L3 cache reaches 144MB. For comparison, AMD’s previously released R9 7945HX has 16 cores and 32 threads, an acceleration frequency of 5.4GHz, and an L2+L3 cache of 80MB.
In terms of performance, the R9 7945HX3D is supported by a large 3D V-Cache, the game performance is increased by 11% at 70W TDP, and the game performance is increased by 23% at 40W TDP.
In terms of overall game performance, the R9 7945HX3D has a 15% improvement in 1080p games compared to the R9 7945HX.
The AMD R9 7945HX3D processor will be available on August 22 with the new ROG gaming notebook.
