Although Windows 11 22H2 (or Windows 11 2022 Update) has not yet been released, AMD’s latest release of Radeon Software drivers already provides support for the new book. AMD has released a download link for update 4.08.09.2337, providing official support for Windows 11 22H2.
However, the official AMD changelog does not mention what improvements the new version brings, but only lists the known bugs and issues so far
" ● Sometimes custom installation cannot be upgraded to the latest driver. ● Text alignment issues may occur in Russian. ● Non-English speaking operating systems require a manual system reboot after installation is complete. ● Windows® Installer pop-up messages may appear during the installation process. ● On non-English operating systems, the uninstall summary log may incorrectly show the uninstall status as failed."
The latest AMD chipset drivers are available for all motherboards compatible with Zen-based processors (Ryzen, Athlon, and Threadripper), including the A320, B350, X370, B450, X470, X399, A520, B550, X570, TRX40, and WRX80 chipsets.
While all motherboards with AM4 and TR4/sTRX4 slots support Windows 11, first-generation Ryzen and Threadripper, seventh-generation AMD A-Series and Ryzen 2000G are not officially compatible with Microsoft’s latest operating systems. Nevertheless, users can still get around these limitations using a popular utility called Rufus.
