Earlier this year, AMD released the Rembrandt code-named Riptide 6000 mobile processor with Zen3+ architecture CPU and new RDNA2 core graphics, available in 6-core and 8-core models. Now, a quad-core Rembrandt processor has appeared on Geekbench.
As you can see above, an HP mobile device is equipped with this processor with 4 cores and 8 threads, 2.9-4.1GHz, 8MB triple cache and 3CU RNDA2 architecture for core graphics.
The old R3 5300U is 4 cores and 8 threads, 2.6-3.8GHz, 4MB of level 3 cache, and Vega6 core graphics.
In terms of score, this processor has 1321 points for single-core, 4261 points for multi-core, and 13755 points for core graphics. As a comparison, the old R3 5300U can reach 1074 points for single-core, 4032 points for multi-core, and 10939 points for core graphics.
Overall, the latest quad-core Riptide 6000 APU has improved single-core and core performance compared to the older model.
