AMD recently announced that the Ryzen 7045HX series processors will be launched this month, and at the same time released the game test data of the R9 7945HX.
As you can see in the chart below, AMD says the R9 7945HX processor has a 10% advantage in 1080p gaming over the i9-13950HX.
In terms of parameters, the R9 7945HX has 16 cores and 32 threads, and the frequency can reach 5.4GHz. For comparison, Intel’s latest i9-13950HX has 8 large cores + 16 small cores, a total of 24 cores and 32 threads, and its frequency can reach 5.5GHz.
AMD said that the Alienware m16/18, ROG Strix series and Lenovo Legion notebooks will be powered by the R9 7945HX flagship processor. At present, the ROG Moba series of gaming notebooks has been the first to be launched with the Ryzen 7045HX series processor.
