According to Reddit, the latest AMD R9 7940H or R7 7840H-powered mini console will be available starting in May, with a GMK global debut.
ASUS has already debuted the AMD R9 7940H processor on its Chosen 4 series notebooks last night. Other manufacturers’ R9 7940H or R7 7840H notebooks are expected to be released after May Day. On the mini console front, MINISFORUM has also teased its new R9 7940HS-powered model.
In terms of performance, AMD’s new generation APUs have been upgraded to Zen 4 architecture for the CPU part and RNDA3 architecture for the core graphics, making them more powerful for gaming and more suitable for mini consoles.
