AMD has launched a small upgraded version of the RX 6550M for the entry-level laptop RX 6500M, with a higher frequency and a small performance improvement.
RX 6550M: 1024 stream processors, 2560MHz, 4GB 64bit, 80W power consumption, 5.8 TFLOPs computing power
RX 6500M: 1024 stream processors, 2191MHz, 4GB 64bit, 50W power consumption, 4.98 TFLOPs computing power.
From the parameter point of view, AMD’s new RX 6550M entry-level laptop has a higher performance release, a higher GPU frequency, and a higher memory frequency, which increases the single-precision floating-point performance by 16%.
Nvidia’s latest generation of laptops has no 4GB video memory model. The RTX 4050 with the lowest specification is equipped with 6GB 96bit video memory, and the RTX 3050 has also been upgraded to 6GB 96bit video memory.
