AMD has further expanded its EPYC 7003 “Milan” server CPU product line, providing 6 new SKUs to mainstream customers, and promised to extend support until 2026.
AMD launched Genoa on November 10, 2022, and it remains the fastest server CPU lineup. Although the Genoa CPU was initially priced at a high price, but over time, the price dropped dramatically, but AMD decided to re-introduce the Milan product to the market.
AMD has currently launched a total of 6 new SKUs, ranging from 8 cores to 64 cores, with TDPs between 120W-240W and single-core clock speeds up to 3.5GHz.
The top-end EPYC 7663P tops out at 56 cores, down from the 64-core variant available at launch. These are scaled down to 8 cores for $300.
