According to the tipster @goldenpigupgradekit, AMD Ryzen 7040 series processors codenamed Phoenix will be released at the end of this month / early next month, and notebooks with the Ryzen 7040HS are expected to be available at the end of April, and models with the 7840U processor will be available early next month.
The AMD 7040 series of notebook processors use a 4nm process with an 8-core Zen4 CPU and RDNA3 core graphics, with core specifications up to 12CU 3.0GHz and the latest Ryzen AI engine. As for memory support, AMD 7040 series notebooks support DDR5-5600 and LPDDR5x-7500.
