Amazon’s cloud game service Luna users can now buy and play games from Ubisoft on the platform, including “Assassin’s Creed”, “Crysis”, “Drag Race”, “Watchdogs” and many other masterpieces. support game list is shown below:
At the end of last year, Amazon Luna and Ubisoft deepened their partnership, allowing users to stream purchased Ubisoft titles on their PCs. The move means that users will have a cross-platform license for their purchased games, which can be played on PCs or any Luna-enabled device, including Fire TVs, Chromebooks, and cell phones.
Purchased games will appear in the user’s library on the Luna platform, and all in-game purchases will be interconnected with the user’s original Ubisoft account – regardless of the channel of payment. In addition, if users stop subscribing to the Luna service or Prime membership, these Ubisoft games can still be played on other platforms.
Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick said earlier this year that Amazon has 200 million Prime subscribers, and he believes the free Amazon Luna has the largest number of cloud gamers in the world.
He noted that Netflix got into cloud gaming and Google got out of cloud gaming because they realized that delivering processing power in the cloud was actually less efficient than Android phones. The company will continue to invest in so-called “cloud gaming,” but it’s not really a market, and while there’s been a lot of effort, it hasn’t proven successful so far.
