OpenAI has announced that it has launched the official ChatGPT app for iPhone and iPad in more than 40 countries and territories. The official version of ChatGPT was first launched in the US last week, and OpenAI promises to continue expanding to more countries in the coming weeks.

Users can enter text in the app’s text box, use Apple’s built-in speech recognition to enter voice, or use Whisper, OpenAI’s open source speech recognition system, for voice input. The app also supports code blocks, and users can copy and paste responses.
If you are a ChatGPT Plus subscriber, you will be able to use the GPT-4 feature for faster answers through the mobile app, and ChatGPT Plus costs $20 per month.
