Alleged Vivo S15 Pro TENAA certified, here’s what to expect

Two new Vivo smartphones with model numbers V2203A and V2207A have been approved by the TENAA authority in China. Both devices have also been approved by China’s 3C authority. While there is no information on the final marketing name of the V2207A, rumors surrounding the V2203A have revealed that it could be debuting in China with the Vivo S15 Pro name.

The TENAA certifications have revealed only the preliminary specs of the Vivo V2203A and V2207A smartphones. As seen in the screenshots shared by tipster Bald is Panda, the V2203A has a 6.62-inch display, Android 12 OS, and a 4,500mAh battery. It measures 161.9 x 74.31 x 7.99mm.

On the other hand, the Vivo V2207A has a 6.56-inch display, Android 12 OS, and a 2,190mAh (dual-cell) battery.  The total size of its battery could be 4,500mAh. The device measures 158.9 x 73.52 x 8.5mm.

Both models have also bagged 3C certifications in China. The listings show that the V2203A and V2207A may arrive with support for 66W and 80W fast charging. As mentioned above, the V2203A could be the Vivo S15 Pro smartphone. Hopefully, the rumor mill will reveal more information about the V2207A in the coming days.

Past reports have claimed that the Vivo S15 Pro will feature an OLED screen and be powered by the Dimensity 8100 chipset. It may house a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS. On the other hand, the vanilla Vivo S15 may feature the same 6.62-inch OLED screen, a 4,580mAh battery, and the Snapdragon 870 chipset.
