Alibaba Cloud VMware Service is based on the strategic cooperation between Alibaba Cloud and VMware, and is jointly developed by Alibaba Cloud and VMware. Alibaba Cloud provides VMware SDDC public cloud services on the enterprise-level cloud for sales, operation and after-sales support. VMware services have the out-of-the-box and elastic characteristics of cloud services, helping users easily migrate or extend existing VMware workloads from on-premises data centers to Alibaba Cloud.
VMware services automatically create user-specific VMware environments based on VMware SDDC software on dedicated physical servers. Users can flexibly configure and manage their own VMware environment, and create custom-sized virtual machines based on VMware vSphere to deploy and run workloads.

Using the software-defined enterprise-level storage solution VMware vSAN, a storage resource pool shared by all hosts in the cluster is built on the local all-flash storage of physical servers, with high reliability and high performance.
